After the Spam Museum we went to Florence Park in Stewartville and took a few pictures there. I like this one of our shadows on the bridge. Then we went to Whistle Binkies on the Lake in Rochester for dinner. It's a great little place and Tuck enjoyed the $1 house beer.
The next day we enjoyed the Mayo Clinic tour. It was pretty informative and interesting to learn more about the Mayo brothers. I did like the tour of Mayowood (their home) a little better though. Guess it depends on what you find interesting.
After the tour we spent the evening at my parents house. Laura and the kids came down too!! We enjoyed good food and conversation. My mom and Sue actually cooked the food over an open fire. Guess they were feeling a little adventurous. My parents also got a new tent (the same tent we have) so we set that up too.
We ended the evening watching some fireworks that Tuck treated us to. Ryan didn't like them because of the noise during the display but of course when it was over he really liked them. He was still talking about them this morning!
Overall it was a great weekend and we enjoyed having Scott's parents stay with us, they're easy guests. Just wish they could visit more often!
